Defending Indigenous Foodways

Join us for the final panel of Poisoning Paradise Film Festival on October 26th (12pm HT | 3pm PT | 5pm CT | 6pm ET)! This panel brings together Indigenous leaders from Hawaiʻi, the Pacific Northwest, and the Northeast to discuss Indigenous sovereignty and their shared fight against the genetic engineering of their sacred foods. 

Panelists include:

🌱 Walter Ritte: Native Hawaiian activist, educator, and Founder/Director of ʻĀina Momona

🌱 BJ McManama: Campaign Organizer for Indigenous Environmental Network’s Save Our Roots Campaign

🌱 Willie Frank III: Chairman for The Nisqually Tribal Council
