11/21-24: Mackenzie at Project Green Challenge

Beginning on October 1, 2019, Project Green Challenge (PGC) seeks to inform, inspire and mobilize high school, college, and grad school students globally. This powerful and diverse call to action features 30 days of environmentally–themed challenges. PGC aims to touch lives, shift mindsets, and equip students with knowledge, resources and mentorship to lead change on campuses and communities worldwide.

Through conscious living, informed consumption, and individual and collective action, PGC participants are challenged to envision and work toward a healthy, just, and thriving planet.

12 outstanding PGC Participants will join Turning Green in San Francisco from Nov 21-24 for PGC Finals 2019. Finalists were selected based on points accrued, depth and breadth of engagement, number of challenge wins, quality of work, a final exam, and video recap of their PGC journey.

The Finals bring together like-minded peers with esteemed eco leaders to learn from one another across a multitude of topics, build in-depth social action platforms to enable ongoing change on campuses, and provide an opportunity for students to share their experiences, learnings, best practices and ideas.

Turning Green is celebrating 15 years, and we can’t wait to celebrate with them! Mackenzie will be among a few special guests this evening to talk about food, sustainability, and inspiring the next generation of leaders.
